Featured article: THE MISSING LINK BETWEEN STUDENT CAPABILITIES AND MOTIVATION: PERCEIVED SELF-EFFICACY

New Content Item

In recent years, the lack of students’ motivation has become critical all over the world because of the decrease in work opportunities for young people without general or vocational secondary education. Currently, there is an interest in the ways in which teachers in youth education can foster students’ development of competencies and motivation. This paper explores the premise that teachers
should move beyond competencies and motivation and consider the perceived selfefficacy that represents the ‘missing link’
between the two student characteristics.

The
paper deals with two research questions: how can teachers generate knowledge about perceived self-efficacy, and which aspects of the perceived self-efficacy are the most important in relation to learning outcome?

GSTF Journal of Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research – JMSOR Vol.4 No.1

(E-periodical: 2251-3396)

The Global Science and Technology Forum (GSTF) publishes, in print and online, international journals that feature peer-reviewed scholarly articles rigorously selected from conferences and open call for papers. These articles are the end result of scholars’ tremendous effort and creativeness in exploring the theory, application, and social implications of diverse frontier research areas in science and technology. GSTF journals are indexed by UlrichswebEconBizEBSCOCrossRefProQuestCabell’s DirectoriesIndex Copernicus,JournalSeek and will be submitted to Zentralblatt MATHScopusScienceDirect and amongst others, where applicable.

A research paper submitted to GSTF Journal of Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research (JMSOR) must be original that are unpublished and cannot be under review for publication elsewhere during the time it is being considered for GSTF Journal of Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research (JMSOR). Furthermore, after you submit a paper to GSTF Journal of Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research (JMSOR), you must await the response from GSTF Journal of Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research (JMSOR) and only resubmit elsewhere if your paper is rejected–or withdrawn at your request–from GSTF Journal of Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research (JMSOR).

The Clocks in Dickens

n Dickens’s novels, certain leitmotifs and themes tend to reappear. To understand which particular issues captured Dickens’s imagination, it is profitable to locate those recurrences. The motif of the clock is chosen because it has been already singled out by scholars as suggestive in Dickens’s narratives, but has not been systematically discussed in terms of its stylistic representations.

Developing A Model of Performances Evaluation of Elementary Schools in Inclusive Education

In this study the writer try to develop a model of performances evaluation in elementary schools implementing inclusive education namely EKPI (Evaluasi Kinerja Pendidikan Inklusif) Model. The study implemented qualitative and quantitative approach. The data were collected through Focus Group Discussion, interviews, observations, document study, and discussions. Based on the data, it can be concluded that (1) Based on assessment from the experts, users and practitioners of inclusive education, EKPI is an evaluation model that can inform the implementation of inclusive education appropriately, (2) EKPI has seven components, those are: leadership, strategic plan,
