Research Interests: Cloud Computing & Green IT

A Ph.D student at Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, Krishnadas’s research interests include Green IT and Cloud Computing. Basically a Computer Science engineer, he had successful internship experiences with Microsoft Research and Honeywell. He was chosen as the SAS student Ambassador in 2011 and was invited to present his research on Grid Computing at the SAS Global Forum in Las Vegas. He won the International PhD student Award, being one among the top twelve PhD students worldwide to get an invitation by University of South Australia. He also represented his university at the St. Gallen Symposium, Switzerland with the Wings of Excellence Award 2012. With other awards like “2011 Emerald Research Fund Award”, “Wipro Earthian Award 2011”, “TCS Smart Manager” and several best papers awards at conferences and colloquium (includes IISc and IIM Ahmedabad), he demonstrates a strong research potential and flair for problem solving.

He has published papers and case studies in journals and conferences in the areas of Green IT, Cloud Computing and social entrepreneurship. He aspires to become a Green IT expert and contribute to the field of Information Systems research. His other interests include public speaking and traveling.

The GSTF Fellowship Award program honours exceptional PhD students, researchers and faculty researching in the areas of Cloud Computing, Business Analytics and Big Data.

Students must be nominated by a faculty member of the university and must have completed at least 2 years of study in their doctoral program at the time of nomination.

Grants are also available for the same research areas for faculty.
